Meroster INJECTION is a broad-spectrum carbapenem antibiotic which is active against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. It exerts its action by penetrating bacterial cells readily and interfering with the synthesis of vital cell wall components, which leads to cell death.

PREGNANCY
MEROSURE 1GM INJECTION should not be used in pregnancy unless the benefit justifies the potential risk to the foetus. Consult your doctor before receiving.
BREASTFEEDING
MEROSURE 1GM INJECTION should not be used in breast-feeding women unless the benefit justifies the potential risk to the baby. Consult your doctor before receiving.
DRIVING AND USING MACHINES
There is no data available, but it is anticipated that MEROSURE 1GM INJECTION will not affect the ability to drive and use machines.
KIDNEY
MEROSURE 1GM INJECTION should be taken with caution in patients with kidney problems. If needed dose will be adjusted accordingly. Consult your doctor before receiving.
LIVER
MEROSURE 1GM INJECTION should be used with caution in patients with liver problems. Consult your doctor before receiving.
ALLERGY
Do not use MEROSURE 1GM INJECTION if you are allergic to Meropenem, antibiotics such as penicillins, cephalosporins, or carbapenems or to any ingredients of this medicine.
